J.C. Raby- Co-Founder & Partner

JC Raby is a Co-Founder and Partner at Boston Meridian and has more than 16 years of investment banking experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as private and public financings. JC’s clients include leading Fortune 500 acquirers and middle-market growth companies across a number of industries including media and Technology (software, business services, and communications equipment) manufacturing and consumer products, together accounting for over $9 billion in transaction value.

Prior to founding Boston Meridian, JC was a senior executive for Thomas Weisel Partners (now Stifel Financial) a leading San Francisco based merchant bank in which JC ran the Boston Investment Banking Group, with responsibility to grow the firm’s relationships with leading East Coast technology firms as well as the New England private equity community. Prior to joining Thomas Weisel Partners, JC was a Vice President at Montgomery Securities (now Bank of American Securities) where he was responsible for the execution of merger and acquisition transactions; and began his career in the corporate finance group at PaineWebber Inc. (now UBS Securities).

JC also served as Director of Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations at Akamai Technologies (Nasdaq: AKAM), a global provider of content-delivery services the World Wide Web, where he worked directly with the Senior executive team to help develop and manage the Company’s corporate finance offerings and drive increased institutional ownership.

JC is the Chairman of Esprida Corporation, an Ontario Canada based company that provides enterprise software solutions for the remote management of intelligent devices to leading Fortune 500 enterprises and state agencies.

JC holds a BA in International Relations and Latin American Commerce from Brown University where he was a All-Ivy National Champion rower.

John P. Siracuse – Co-Founder & Partner

John Siracuse is a Co-Founder and Partner at Boston Meridian. John has more than 20 years of investment banking experience and has completed over 150 financing, merger and acquisition, merchant banking and advisory transactions with a total transaction value of over $20 billion.

Prior to founding Boston Meridian, John was a Managing Director at Robertson Stephens, an internationally recognized investment bank focused on technology, media, and consumer products, where he led the East Coast Software, Internet Banking, and Financial Sponsors Group. John also helped to build and manage relationships with venture capital and private equity firms.

John previously worked as an investment banker at Montgomery Securities (now Bank of America Securities), Jefferies & Company, and Drexel Burnham Lambert, and as a Software Consultant at SunGard Data Systems.

John holds a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

 

C. Garrett Palm – Chief Operating Officer & Principal

Garrett Palm is the Chief Operating Officer and a Principal at Boston Meridian and has more than 13 years of investment banking experience specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and equity capital markets across a number of technology sectors including communications equipment, software and e-commerce.

Prior to joining Boston Meridian, Garrett was a member of the Communications Equipment team at Thomas Weisel Partners where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private placements for systems and components companies.

Previously, Garrett worked at Montgomery Securities where he helped develop the firm’s east coast Software and Internet practice. He began his investment banking career as a member of the Energy Group group at Smith Barney (now Citigroup) where he worked both in corporate finance and on the Equity Capital Markets Desk analyzing alternative equity-related issues, executing private placements, and marketing and pricing initial public offerings and follow-on transactions.

Garrett holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
